2. How We Use Information
- To respond to consultation requests and provide advisory services
- To generate and send secure payment links, and to reconcile completed payments
- To provision and maintain your client portal account
- To process withdrawal requests at termination
- To communicate with you about your engagement (never for unrelated marketing without consent)
- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or unauthorized account access
3. Payment Data
We never process card details ourselves. When your advisor sends you a payment link, you enter payment details directly with our payment processor (e.g. Stripe, Flutterwave) or complete a wire/cryptocurrency transfer according to instructions provided — African Scepter itself only ever sees the confirmation of a completed transaction, not raw card or account credentials.
4. Data Sharing
We do not sell client information. We share information only with:
- Payment processors, strictly to complete a transaction you've initiated
- Our hosting and database providers, solely to operate the service
- Regulators or authorities, where required by Ugandan law
5. Data Security
Portal passwords are hashed, never stored in plain text. We support two-factor authentication on request. Sessions are invalidated automatically after a password change or reset. Access to administrative systems is restricted to authorized African Scepter personnel.
6. Data Retention
We retain client and transaction records for as long as necessary to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and regulatory retention obligations under Ugandan law.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to our legal retention obligations, by contacting us at the address below.
8. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.
